I installed the Kubuntu 8.4 KDE 3 beta to my hard disk. When I click on "admin mode...", I am asked for the user's password. But then again, nothing happens! OK, other way: sudo kcmshell kcm_knetworkconfmodule Yes! This works. I can edit the network configuration. But even this does not help, because the programme does not show a list of the wlans (iwlist scanning).
