I've got a new installation of kubuntu 8.04 (KDE4 version) with the
german language selected. My dolphin doesn't store the new metadata
rating and comment for all types of files that I already tried:
directories and textfiles.
Here is how to reproduce:
1) log in as a user (note: this also happens if the account is new!)
2) start dolphin (K->Favorites->Dolphin)
3) doubleklick the folder Videos
4) create a new Textfile "test" (rightclick)
5) enter a comment and a rating in the right column of dolphin
6) go back to the home-dir
7) go back to Videos/test
8) see that the metainfo is no longer displayed in dolphins right column
whereas setting keywords for the file test (and restoring the keywords
for the file) works fine.
