I searched for duplicates, as this seems pretty generic but could not
find any.
I can duplicate it across two systems runnning KDE4 (.0 and .1).
I have two external devices for my laptop a 500GB SATA external HDD via
USB2 and a 2GB sd card. Both of them are available in the "Devices
recently plugged in" widget, but not mounted. To mount the drives and
access them I have to open Dolphin first for them to mount, which is a
bit of a pain when I want to play music as I can't just open Amarok and
play.
I wondering why the drives don't automount ? they do in KDE3.5. I
understand the different desktop architecture involved but the
underlying system is the same?
