I've installed Gutsy 7.10 Italian language from scratch, from DVD.
In place of "Desktop" folder now I have "Scrivania", wonderful, more italian
then ever ;-)
The problem is that there are programs (XSANE, KTORRENT, K3B, ...) where when
you want to open/save a file you see a nice button "Desktop", but it does not
work anymore.
Is there a plan to fix it?
If yes, how it is expected that the fix will be done? By patching each
application or .... ?
p.s.
In another system I've upgraded from Feisty. The problem is not present there
since "Desktop" folder is preserved.
I mean, upgrading from Faisty and installing Gutsy from scratch gives two
sensibly different results.
