Confirmed (fully updated i386 Kubuntu, using iwl3945 on a Lenovo
ThinkPad X61s).  Reverting to NM0.6 resolves the issue.

Another thing worth noting is that the menu shown when the tray icon is
clicked only shows my own wireless network (perhaps due to it being
found in the configuration file).  Not sure if this is intentional or
not - NM0.6 behaviour was to show all networks in range (and GNOME's nm-
applet still does after the upgrade).  The box displayed by «Edit
Connections... -> New Connection -> Wireless» shows a list of all
networks in range, though.
