The new KDE 4 in the new intrepid distribution ships with 4 desktops as
a default. I personally use 10. After increasing the number of desktops
to 10 only the first four desktop shifting commands Ctl-Fn work
properly. For n=5,6,7 nothing happens, and for n=8,9,10 something else
happens
