I hit this issue also on Gentoo (and this was the only bug-report I've googled out), and I've discovered the cause and a workaround...
The problem is that internal representation of the time in idle time detector has been changed from minutes to seconds, and the idle-time setting started to be wrongly treated as time in seconds not in minutes. So to set 10 min idle time, you need to enter 600 minutes :-) An untested patch is attached (I don't have compilation prerequisites). Enjoy!-) ** Attachment added: "should fix the bug, patch for the file idletimedetector.cpp in the karm dir" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/28689220/idletime_setting_misuse.patch -- karm ignores configured idle-time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/289672 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdepim in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
