At the moment I haven't got the time to test this in karmic as this bug does not occur every time but sporadically. But I'm using kde 4.3 on on jaunty for some weeks now and indeed I haven't seen this bug since then. So I think that this is also the case for the ackages shipped with Karmic and we can mark this bug as fixed.
