Sounds like X could be crashing on restart.
Could you attach a copy of the /var/log/Xorg.0.log and /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old
files after a failed logout?
Also, we will need a copy of the output of the command lspci -vvnn in an
attachment. Thanks in advance.
