If I have my root folder displayed as a folder view widget, and I hover
over any folder that requires administrator access, I get the error
message:
Could not enter folder /xyz
The entire plasma desktop then crashes. Upon restart of plasma-desktop,
some of the other widgets are often incorrectly displayed - normally the
system monitor will have respawned itself, and the analog clock will
appear as a gray block until it is moved or altered in some way. This
is repeatable and happens every time.
My system is Ubuntu 9.04 on a MacBook Pro 4,1 (Santa Rosa), with the
KDE-Desktop packages installed and upgraded to 4.3 through the backport
repository.
