USB devices cannot be ejected
Get the message
"Cannot unmount the device.
One or more files are open in an application"
This is not true. I get this message every time with all USB mass storage
devices, on multiple computers.
The only way to safely unmount seems to be to run
sudo eject /dev/... or /media/...
