I just installed the Kubuntu lucid alpha and when the battery gets down
to 25% (which is the default "low") it immediately suspends.
In the advanced battery settings of the power management control module
it's set to suspend at critical.
Also when it suspends in this manner, when I try and start the laptop up
again, it immediately re-suspends and the next time after that will boot
from cold.
