i have downloaded the development version, 10.10, ISO and booted the live CD. then i ran 'sudo apt-get install k3b'. the version installed is k3b 2.0.1-1ubuntu3 and the option to 'verify written data' for an audio CD is still missing. this is perhaps and upstream bug?
