It seems it's a bug into:
/lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules
By editing the relevant entry from
ATTRS{idVendor}=="1ee8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0012", RUN+="usb_modeswitch
'%b/%k'"
to
ATTRS{idVendor}=="1ee8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="0012", RUN+="/sbin/modprobe
option"
I got the "Mobile Broadband" tab enabled.
The mobile broadband is not working, anyway.
