You have been subscribed to a public bug: The problem is very straightforward. I opened the konsole(KDE terminal) from dolphin, with the working directory of /home/tyf/new- compilation/octave-3.6.1/. I run 'make' to compile octave in that directory. After the compilation has finished, I notice that the directory displayed at the command line prompt is wrong:
tyf@tyf-desktop:~/Desktop/new compilation/octave-3.6.1$ tyf@tyf-desktop:~/Desktop/new compilation/octave-3.6.1$ cd ../ tyf@tyf-desktop:~/Desktop/new-compilation$ cd octave-3.6.1/ tyf@tyf-desktop:~/Desktop/new-compilation/octave-3.6.1$ Notice that the first prompt's directory, "new compilation", when I cd up one level up to parent directory, it changes to "new-compilation". ** Affects: konsole (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- konsole/bash displays directory incorrectly (minor bug) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/970095 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to konsole in Ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
