The thread says the fix was released nine months ago. I'm in GNOME Trusty trying to manipulate an NTFS partition in GParted that is marked with a problem (altough Windows 8.1 finds no problem), and the bug is there. The po-up window I see implies I need ntfsprogs, but it is not in the Trusty sources.
When I try "apt-get install ntfsprogs", I get: "Package ntfsprogs is not available, but is referred to by another package." ** Attachment added: "Shows pop-up help in GParted referring to ntfsprogs." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-lts-trusty/+bug/1216470/+attachment/4176435/+files/Screenshot%20from%202014-08-13%2012%3A01%3A57.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to partitionmanager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1216470 Title: ntfs-3g Raring package does not indicate that it provides ntfsprogs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fai/+bug/1216470/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
