KWin's off the hook then and that very particular copy of ksnapshot (0.8.2 on 4.14.2 here) seems to take screenshots continuously. That's not related to this very bug but a fresh and new one. (This bug played on the animations when showing/hiding ksnapshot what cause ghosts of it to remain on the screenshot)
