Public bug reported:
Just as the title says, the entire plasmashell panel freezes when I try
to add a new favorite in kmenu.
Version is 5.2.2 and has been installed through the Kubuntu PPA
Backports.
How to reproduce:
- Klick on launch button for kmenu
- rightclick an application launcher and add it to favourites
(for me, reproducibility rate is 100%)
Result:
- Entire plasma panel freezes, e.g. no interaction with mouse possible
- can be recovered using console
