Andrew's workaround didn't work for me. It ensures the error dialog
doesn't pop up, but it just sits at the installation process, not asking
me about partition details or anything, and the installation goes
nowhere. Perhaps one problem is that I had previously run an apt-get
dist-upgrade on the live installer in hopes that it would fix the
problem.
