Public bug reported: On a fresh install of Ubuntu (tested with the current 16.10 alpha but also occurred with earlier versions), the Browse mode of Gwenview shows an error or does not work at all.
This can be easily solved by installing the kio and kinit packages, as stated in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=343997 and http://askubuntu.com/a/617956/221115 . These two packages should be set as a dependency of gwenview, so that installing the program always installed these dependencies, which are required for the program to work normally. ** Affects: gwenview (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to gwenview in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1611510 Title: Browse mode does not work due to missing dependencies To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gwenview/+bug/1611510/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
