Public bug reported:
The sound setup system does not display SPDIF Digital.
I've been reporting for quite some time that when choosing the desired
sound system, the SPDIF Digital option never appears.
I have a 5.1 sound system that I connect through the SPDIF Digital
(optical) cable, and I have to juggle to get it to work. Unfortunately
in the last version of Ubuntu or Kubuntu the patch I used doesn't work
anymore.
The rest of the settings are correct, Analog SPDIF, stereo, etc.
Please, could someone make the system recognize that audio output
automatically?
Thank you in advance
