Public bug reported:

The program closes immediately after launch. It worked with Plasma

While reporting this bug I also noticed what causes it. Because I tried running
it without translations so that the error message would be in english for you...
and without translations, Discover opens just fine. (Command: "LANG=C
plasma-discover")
