Still see the same problem with Ubuntu Studio 22.04.1 LTS.
In my case it looks like I can reproduce it just by waiting.
So if I boot and make a coffee I can't login but if I then reboot and login
immediately, all is fine.

will now try to install the missing hunspell dictionary and see if
things still fail.
