Public bug reported: I am seeing basically the same issue reported in these sources:

So things like ssh-agent do not function fully as intended on Plasma in Wayland mode. I tried my best to figure out which package this should be connected to, but I am probably wrong, as I am not an expert on how Wayland session launches operate. I tried to report against plasma-workspace-wayland but the website is buggy and claims the package does not exist (even though it's installed via 23.04 Lunar). I am happy to do some debugging or help code the fix but I would need some pointers on where to start.
