Taking a screenshot of a rectangular region with KDE-Spectacle on my recently
installed (not upgraded) Ubuntu Studio 24.04 LTS with a dual monitor setup
results in a screenshot with a horizontal displacement, loosing about 3 cm at
the left of the intended screen area (and a similar sized unwanted area on the
right side).<br/>
Some testing indicates the problable cause: setting the display zoom factor: in
Settings - Display and Monitor - Display Configuration I changed the Global
Scale from the default 100% and set up 2 ticks to 112,5%.<br/>
Restore the default 100% and after log-off/on the rectanglular area screenshot
is as normal again.
Other types of screenshort are not affected, the Active Window screenshot is
namal also with the scale set.<br/><br/>
Seems to be and old problem back again, found

the same problem (the scaling mentioned in the messages) in Ubuntu 18.04
LTS.<br/>On my previos Ubuntu version 22.04 LTS I havn't noticed it, and on my
other laptop system still with Ubuntu Studio 22.04 LTS the problem does not
appear.
