By the way, all Council members are members of the Ubuntu op team, and can/should join #ubuntu-ops if you want to be active and informed about IRC stuff. I know not everybody has time, but it is an option if you are involved. We are ops on #kubuntu, #kubuntu-devel and #kubuntu-offtopic which are all considered core Ubuntu channels.
