Alohas, a while ago we discussed the idea of making Muon Discover the only package manager (next to apt-get anyway) in the default installation. Namely whether or not Muon Package Manager (the synaptic-like GUI) should be removed. Concerns where then raised that Discover's quality was not sufficient.
In the mean time Aleix invested some time to get the big problems with Discover resolved and now 2.1.3 (as available in trusty and saucy-proposed) has only one known crasher with a somewhat medium impact. So my question now is, how does everyone feel about Muon Discover 2.1.3? Is it at the quality we expect? Are there any issues you are still experiencing that have not been addressed? Are we ready to drop the training wheels and remove Muon Package Manager from the ISO for 14.04? cardref: https://trello.com/c/xPrs4eVM/24-only-ship-muon-discover HS -- kubuntu-devel mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-devel
