FWIW, I find it incredibly concerning that we actually go through the trouble of manually merging and evaluating the delta against Debian in random packages while a substantial core delta such as a different IO scheduler doesn't even have a well defined test case for why the delta is there let alone gets re-evaluated ever so often.
