I have loved being on the Council for the past two years, and nominate myself for another term. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ValorieZimmerman
One of the useful things *everyone* can do, if you use IRC, is to hang out in #kubuntu and help distressed users when you can. All of us have some expertise; that is a great place to use it. The Kubuntu-user list and Kubuntu-forums are also places where help is needed; as well as the KDE and Ubuntu forums. Also, if you are not yet a Kubuntu Member, please consider applying to become a Member. Not only will you be able to vote for your Council, but there are numerous other benefits. See https://community.kde.org/Kubuntu/Membership for details. Make yourself a wiki page and start collecting information there. Ask for testimonials when you are ready to apply.
