Hi everybody, GCi will be starting soon. This is a contest for
pre-university students over the age of 13. You may not know that
Kubuntu used to be at least partially created by students this young!
These kids can do quality work, including packaging.

The way the contest is set up, Mentors need to be invited to
participate, and this requires a Google-connected email account. If
you will mentor some tasks which will take a student up to three days,
please send me your email account information. Also you will need to
join the KDE-Soc-Mentor mail list. [1]

This is not just code. Non-coding tasks include documentation,
training, outreach, research, and quality assurance (e.g., find bugs
and report them, etc.) tasks. "Beginner tasks" are especially welcome.
We want to teach these students how much fun and how valuable
contributing to FOSS can be. Also, tasks can be re-used; so you can
set up a "bug triaging" task for instance, and re-use it multiple
times.
