I have USB card Prodigy Cube http://i.imgur.com/8rJdSQD.png system Kubuntu 16.04 recognize it (I added backports and installed plasma-desktop on top of Xubuntu) but in device preference it is not listed, actually onboard audio card is not listed either http://i.imgur.com/vFZzf0i.png http://i.imgur.com/8cH3FKL.png Do I have to install additional packages or is it a Plasma 5 bug? In Kubuntu 14.04 everything is fine http://i.imgur.com/8R5WeM2.jpg I can hear music from this USB sound card but I can't set device preference.
To test kubuntu backports is it necessary to install first kubuntu-desktop and upgrade or installing plasma-desktop alone having backports repository amounts to the same thing? I guess not exactly because apllications didn't install but I wonder why there is no kubuntu-desktop package in backports repository. I thought that all package from regular Kubuntu are replaced.
