Hi Mahmoud

No there is no dbreport kickstart, but I don't see any reason why there could
not be.

Kusu was designed to support many OS's not just RHEL based ones. To do that it
creates a small XML file when a node boots. You can see this by running:
/depot/repos/nodeboot.cgi -d -i {IP of node}
This file is then processed to creat the kickstart, auto yast, jumpstart or
whatever you need.

Mark

So there is no way to generate the KS file without doing a install? (like
on ocs4.x  dbreport kickstart nodename)

Hi Mahmoud

You can see the one in installed with in the /root directory on the
compute node, but you have to install it. During install... Not sure...

During a install after getting the ks file from
/depot/repos/1000/ks.cfg.xx.xx.xx.xx How does the node get the rest of the

install info(packages/scripts/etc). I would like to be able to see the
complete kickstart file before running the install on a node.
