Hi,
To specify a rpm that is from a distro, you can use DistroPackage() in
the build.kit file.
There's a blog entry about this here:

There's also a link to a sample build.kit there.

There have been a few threads related to kit building, so there may be
some overlap here. I'm looking for the best method to specify a list of
RPMs I need installed in addition to the base OS kit (I'm using rhel 5).
I don't want to add these by hand through ngedit because it needs to be
a repeatable installation.
Ideally, this would be a kit that extends the rhel5 kit to include what
I want. I don't, however, want to create a kit that includes a bunch of
RPMs that are already included within the OS kit itself. Is there a
Kusu mechanism to specify RPMs that need to be installed but are part of
another kit? Is that what a DistroKit component is?
I also have the need to specify multiple architecture RPMs. Does the
kit mechanism allow specifying i386 RPMs for installation on x86_64
architecture?
Thanks,
Brock
