Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Technologov (technologov) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Restarting KVM, with boot from CDROM, KVM crashes Initial Comment: Restarting KVM, with boot from CDROM, KVM either fails to boot (resulting in Qemu window, showing error) or crash (resulting in KVM userspace crash). Host: Fedora7, 64-bit, Intel CPU, KVM-46. Guests: Debian 4.0 32-bit, Windows XP 32-bit. The result is KVM userspace crash without hard disk (without -hda), while with Hard Disk (-hda attached) it results in Qemu window showing me "error 0003 - unable to boot from CD-ROM" This crash happens with -no-acpi, or with -no-kvm-irqchip or with default parameters. This works with -no-kvm. -Technologov. 18.10.2007. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=893831&aid=1815704&group_id=180599 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
