I've noticed that when I start crash under kvm (both kvm-68 and kvm-70) I get the following error during live crash (with both 4.0-4.6.1 and 4.0-6.3) initialization:
crash: read error: kernel virtual address: ffff8100171f0000 type: "kmem_cache_s buffer" crash: unable to initialize kmem slab cache subsystem As a result 'kmem -s' within crash returns: kmem: kmem cache slab subsystem not available My host is x86_64 RHEL5U1 running 2.6.25.4 with kvm-70 (kvm-intel). I've tried both RHEL5U1 x86_64 and RHEL5U2 x86 guests running with a 2.6.22.19 kernel. These same kernel/distro pairs work fine with crash in a non-kvm guest environment. Anyone else experienced this problem when trying to use crash in a kvm guest? -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe kvm" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
