Summary: -smp 2 has no effect and reduces stability

Initial Comment:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Dist: Ubuntu 8.04.1 amd64 desktop
Kernel: 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Fri Jul 11 21:01:46 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Running KVM-70 or KVM-71 with -smp 2 seems to have no effect on the guest
(tested both RHEL 4.0 and WinXP guests). The guest fails to see more than one
CPU, and typing "info cpus" in the monitor makes KVM crash instantly (though if
you're quick you can see it output info about 2 VCPUs before crashing).
