For kvm/ia64, kvm-intel module is relocated to an special address space which is isolated from host address space, so it can't call printk of host kernel. For printk support, we firstly log the printk output to a log buffer, and on every vm exit vcpu helps to print the log to host kernel log buffer. It is very really helpful for debugging work.
