Not using any virtio drivers. 2) Sometimes when trying to format a disk CPU gets stuck, install hangs but the vm is still responsive to control (reboot, etc) 3) I have a 32bit Windows XP VM running also with kvm * Note: If it doesn't soft lockup, on reboot into the newly installed VM, ssh-keygen segfaults (this has happened 3 times).
