> check out for qemu's "-serial" option Only some operations do work this way. The atmel controller signature is read wrongly from the device all the time using this option. I'd like to try an USB to serial adapter now.
using usb_add host:1.2 or such I am able to attach the harddisk and WindowsXP even tells me that it could perform better when beeing attached to an USB 2.0 adapter. But XP itself gets really slow and does'nt add an addiotianl drive letter. Adding my serial cable this way I get a line printed on stdout/err: usb_linux_update_endp_table: Connection timed out and Could not add USB device `host:7.2` Is this default behaviour? $ uname -r 2.6.25.16-default $ qemu-system-x86_64 QEMU PC emulator version 0.9.1 (kvm-72), Copyright (c) 2003-2008 Fabrice Bellard Sincerly Marc -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe kvm" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html
