After upgrading to qemu-kvm-0.13 the mouse stopped working in my Ubuntu 10.10 guest. I can enable the mouse again if I add "-usbdevice tablet" (for automatic handling) or "-usbdevice mouse" (for manual handling). It does not function without these flags at all.
