[Kvpnc-user] mod 'tun' failed

I did get kvpn installed. Now my issue is that I get an error; 'Loading of
module 'tun' failed. After Googling this, it appears that the tunneling mod
is not installed in my kernel. I am not advanced enough to tackle
recompiling my kernel, if that is even the answer, and I can't seem to find
the solution to just add tunnelling to my system. Any thoughts?
