Dear kvpnc users,

I am trying kvpnc for kde4. I am trying both the stable 0.92
version and the svn version.

However, I have several problems, which I suspect do not
come from kvpnc, but from kde 4.2

The first is an error experienced also by other users. If I try
to import a pcf file, it gives me a "file not found" error. I tried
with different file names and placing the file in different
directories. I always get the error. I google around and most
of the time the solution proposed was an update. But this
happens also with the svn version.

If at this point I chose to enter the connection data manually.
Everything is ok. However, when I try to connect, the red
square in the corner turns to yellow (it is trying to connect)
and then the system crashes. The console reports this
errors:

[vmari...@chakra data]$ xhost +

I am running this as root, but the same happens if I run this
with sudo.

Can anyone point me at an explanation for what is going on?
It seems to be that there problems connecting with hal and
kdeinitd?

Has anyone of you had the same problem?

Thanks for your help

         Valerio
