Indeed it's not possible to use the built-in band plotter with
non-hermitian Hamiltonians. If your Hamiltonian is non-Hermitian it will
in general have complex eigenvalues, and there's no way to plot this on
a simple line plot.


What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Are you sure that using
non-hermitian leads is the way to achieve this?
