By now, you have seen the new Welcome message for the KX-T mailing list. This was generated because I have changed mailing list software.
The Sun SPARCstation 5 that was running the old majordomo software is being retired, so I took this opportunity to try out a different package. This new software, called Mailman, should make my job easier by automatically dealing with bounced messages. Any address that bounces for several days will be automatically removed from the list. One downside to this software package is that does not allow a single address to receive both individual messages and the digest version. Those of you who were signed up for both are now set to receive only the digest version. (As a workaround, if you have two addresses, you can subscribe one to each.) You can change this, and several other, options by going to the list web page at http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt . Enter your address at the bottom of that page to be taken to the list of options.
