javier, to program the 816, you can use the panasonic software but you need to be certified (normal people cant get it). but there is good news, Programmator (http://www.pbxsoftware.com/) is pretty good and does a good job. Its fairly up to date (-4) and is easy to use.
to talk to the voice mail system, you just need a terminal program.
