aahh, just do the math, each mail box 100 msgs max,
each msg max 6min.  so the entire software has to be
rewritten to utilize the BIG disks.  (A 1 (yes O-N-E)
gig drive was hard to find when this software was
first written)

A more practical point, why?  Our most ambitious
customer only peaks at 9% of the EXISTING time, most
of them run about 2% disk useage. 

If you want to use up that 30 gigs... swap the drive
with your laptop hd (proly a 1-10 gig) ;-)

tgif, as if you can't tell...

ps, lets see, backing the 30 gig up at 19.2 k is
!@#$!@#$! minutes. 

on a more serious note, a better solution is to
replace the existing drive with a solid state flash
IDE drive, they do exist, but several years ago a 900
Meg was about $800. (do I hear a group buy)
