For 4 years I configured everything on a KX-TD1232-2 from an operator's or
managers extension, or by walking around. AFAIK, The only thing that one
can not do from the operators's or manager's extension includes:
configure the DSS
configure Flexible CO buttons of a different extension (if this is
possible, I have never done it).
back up and/or restore configuration of the system (useful after a
ROM upgrade).

Right on Jim,
I just sent two new techs to Panasonic last week and they told me that the
Russian stuff adds 2 (TWO) bites of data to the program chip for the DASH 5.
So it is less than 95% effective.

My Vote? Are u n nstallr or n user? As an installer I bought all 3 but
found them to have bugs and they are version and model number proprietary. I
ended up paying a couple of hundred dollars and not using a single one. I
service the entire line of Panasonic KSUs & mails & they don't work that
way................... they only work for the one model KSU and 1 model
voicemail you have when you order it.............. They were expensive and
useless to me.............
