My KX-TD816's label simply identifies it as a KX-TD816. Its ROMs are labelled as P301I91102, which I'm told makes the unit a -3. However, I've gotten copies of various installation/user manuals that refer to models like KX-TD816C. All these C's and -3's and -4's have left me confused. To top it all off, I've gotten a -6 ROM upgrade kit, which I'm told will work in my unit if it's running -3 ROMs now.
Is there some master list of how ROM versions and hardware versions are designated?
