Hi everybody, So I'm still trying to figure out how to get my KX-TD816 and a KX-TVS100 to work the way I want.
I'd like to be able to transfer an active call to an extension, have that extension ring 3 times, and when not answered, have the KX-TD816 forward the caller to the voicemail box of that extension. Right now, I can transfer callers to an extension, and have that phone transfer the caller to our voicemail system (FORWARD-NO ANSWER). The extension rings, then the caller gets kicked into the voicemail, but they have to go thru the prompts and select the extension they want to try, then they can leave a message What I've been told is that I need to upgrade my ROM rev to support DPT. DPT will solve my problem. Our rev right now is P051I50130A. P051I dated 1/30/95. I've read in the KX-TVS100 Installation Manual that for the KX-TD816, this revision is too old and I need at least a rev P401A dated 9/5/96 or newer to get DPT to work. According to http://www.kx-td.com/systems/systemsinfo/816dashinfo.asp my ROM level is too old and can't even be upgraded at all. Anyone? Thanks!
