Well I'm not one to use this forum to bitch about Panasonic, but.............. Here's my scenario. Had a customer with a KXTA 624. Replaced it with a KXTD1232 because they needed something bigger. Found out after the fact that the dealer exclusive product can't support some of the features that the analog system can such as Caller ID Call Waiting and distinctive ringing for individual co lines on the 7000 series phones. All which are important to this very large residence. to
So I take out the KXTD1232 and put in a KXTA1232. Well guess what kids they didn't put in the distinctive ringing on co calls. Also they like the fact that on the digital one they could have Caller ID So here I am. I've put in two boxes and nether one will do fairly standard things the customer wants. I think it would be beneficial to Panasonic and there dealers to have one standard product with interchangeable phones depending on the customer's preference. Any way, Can anybody tell me if there is a way to get distinctive ringing on lines on a KXTA1232. Does anybody know if the dash two will incorporate this feature .
